Triton Television was started in 2010 at the University of California, San Diego. The organization is about creating community through collaborative film production and education. As a division of Associated Students, under the department of Student Services, we extend our community to the entire undergraduate student body and provide resources to meet their production needs.
At over 50 members, Triton TV boasts a diverse roster of students from all campus colleges and across a variety of majors. Our members are encouraged to hone their skills in all walks of media production including, Directing, Editing, Producing, Cinematography, Sound Design, Lighting Design, Screenwriting, Motion Graphics, Broadcast Journalism, and Live Event Management.
TTV is well known for its event coverage across campus, including the Sun God Festival and other ASCE events like Hullabaloo. We also put on our very own 48-Hour Film Festival, which is a collaborative event with other student organizations, such as Company 157, KSDT Radio, Muir Musical, and more.
